Massenez and Hartshorn are inviting you this winter for a unique Cheesy cocktail competition in Queensland!

Make Cocktails and Cheese the new trend! Create a Hartshorn and Massenez cocktail that will pair perfectly with any cheese or cheesy recipe of your choice!

A French traditional distillery and an innovative Tasmanian distillery, which creates its spirits with Sheep Whey:
Craft Spirits, Premium quality, family values… the cheese is just one of the links between our 2 distilleries!

Make this link shine in your cocktail and make us travel and reunite the Old and the New World for one day!

Post on your Instagram a photo or a video with your recipe of a Hartshorn and Massenez cocktail that will do a fabulous pairing with cheese.

(Garnish not included)

You must use both Hartshorn and Massenez brands, but you can choose from all their Spirits and Liqueurs!

30mL Spirits Minimum

Use some of the multi-awarded Hartshorn vodka, its delicate and famous gin or get innovative and try their Oaked and their Peated Vodka!
But you could also find some Massenez eaux de vie for your base spirits! Framboise Sauvage, Poire Williams, Kirsch …

10mL Liqueur Minimum

More than 50 different fruits and vegetable liqueurs from Massenez are at your disposal!

But you could also get innovative and try the delicious Vanilla Liqueur from Harsthorn made with fresh whey.

Be the most creative and unique you can, Results will be communicated on the 30th of August.

Competition reserved for Queensland bartenders, and Bartenders from NSW Northern region that can make their own way for the Finale in Brisbane.


7 finalists from the Instagram competition will be selected anonymously by our jury.

You will compete and Showcase your Cheese & cocktail unique creation at Savile Row, Monday 13th September 2021!

You will have 5 minutes maximum to present to us what is for you the best cocktail and cheese pairing by reproducing the cocktail you have been selected for.

What you will win

The 7 finalists are already winners because they will be offered to be part of a private cooking class and dinner at Lumière Events & Culinary Studio with some Massenez Spirits! Traveling together to France with the senses!

The winner will be flown with the guest of his choice. (Included 2 return flights, 1 night accommodation for 2 people, 1 dinner for 2 people at The Glass House Hobart, and a private tour of the distillery).
