Market memories

This bottle is an original artwork hand-painted by one of Tasmania’s up and coming artists Christina Poesiat.

This is an original one of one bottle, never to be repeated design. This is your chance to have a contemporary piece of art that does not need to be hung on a wall. Display it as you would a sculpture or centrepiece for your bar.

Each bottle comes with its own clear display window box to help you to present your art with pride.

The bottle is 700ml with the Spirit inside this bottle being our Vodka which won Worlds Best Vodka 2018 at the World Vodka Awards in London.

The story behind the bottle

The design for my bottle was inspired by the famous Salamanca Market. In my younger years, I worked in a stall selling lollies there, and will never forget the impact of that experience; such vibrancy! Great excitement can be found sitting and watching people go about their business. The geometric lined patterning on the front of the bottle hopes to refract the image created in the mind of the market stalls lining the road. The waves pay homage to the Derwent River, flowing with history and new promising creativity. The red circle at the back of the design speaks of an early morning pilgrimage that most Tasmanian locals would be familiar with – braving the winter chill at daybreak in the hunt for a hot cup of coffee amongst the bustling market crowd.
